Faith Family Happenings

Through fellowship opportunities the faith community is strengthened to build community and authentic relationships with one another; being involved in each other's lives, rejoicing and crying together. We are called to pray for and encourage each-other in our daily lives. This is the way Christ intended for us to be.
Building community through . . .
- Quarterly pot luck dinner
- Special occasion celebrations
- Annual outdoor worship and picnic in May
- Small group ministries
- Guardian angel program
- Fishes and loaves
- Wit and wisdom - first Tuesday of each month at noon. Those of us who are 50 and older gather together for a meal and a program.

The Guardian Angel Program
The Guardian Angel program matches youngsters ages 4-14 with and adult volunteer. The adult sends notes, birthday card, holiday cards, and words of encouragement anonymously throughout the year and keeps the child in their prayers. We also match elders and shut-in to families and youth who become their angels. A party is held in late spring to reveal the angel to the child. Many of the angels develop a lasting friendship with the child. The cost? The price of an occasional card and postage stamps!
