Social Ministry

Members of our congregation have been involved with and supportive of the restoration of the Mount Zion Baptist Church, and at this critical time, they are asking for community support to rescue and restore a vital part of the building. Here is an excerpt from their appeal: “As you may have heard, Mount Zion's century-old windows are falling out - literally! The condition of the window frames puts them at peril and they must be removed before more damage is done. The windows are incredibly valuable, both because of the history of the church, and the fact that they can never be replaced, especially the hand painted panels created in Japan.” Here is the link to their GoFundMe site to make a donation: https://gofund.me/73919681.
