Book Study Reminder Thursday, January 29th

Hello readers! This is a reminder message to everyone interested in the Christ Lutheran Church Book Discussion series. Our book is Redeeming Eden: How Women in the Bible Advance the Story of Salvation by Dr. Ingrid Faro. Led by the author, last Thursday night we discussed the introduction, Chapters 1 & 2: Man and Woman as God’s Image and Man and Woman as Sacred Space. This groundbreaking analysis of Biblical text in its original language and in the context of the time sheds a new light on God’s view of women as powerful and essential partners rather than subservient helpmates to men. This Thursday, January 29^th Doug Debrick will lead the discussion about Chapter 3: Redemption Hope Through the Woman and Chapter 4: Sarah Brings Life from Death.
