Position Description: Office Administrator

Christ Lutheran Church, Athens, OH 45701

This is a part-time non-exempt (hourly) position. The work week will consist of 12 hours in the office, Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and up to 8 additional hours per week. This position reports to the pastor. 

The Office Administrator will develop and maintain office systems that facilitate effective and faithful management of our shared resources for ministry—including our building and finances. They will often be the primary contact for congregants and community members inquiring about the life of the congregation. In addition, the Office Administrator will collaborate with staff to develop and implement a digital communications strategy with a focus on curating a website and social media presence that builds relationships, shares information, and forms identity among members of the congregation and our community partners.
